A low carb treat that will tickle your tastebuds! Chicken spinach alfredo pizza needs to be on your next menu plan!
We love Alfredo sauce in our home. My youngest can practically use it as a beverage, he enjoys it that much. And we love pizza.
Lots of cheese, vegetables, and chicken are our favorite. Of course, there is the turkey sausage or turkey pepperoni that we love to pile on there as well. As a matter of fact, pizza night happens all the time in our home.
It used to be pizza night once a week, but because of how easy it is to throw a pizza together, it’s become one of our easy go to meals. The issue of course with regular pizza is all the carbs. Loads and loads of carbs in that thick crust. So, I make my pizza keto style instead.
This chicken spinach alfredo pizza is my absolute favorite.
Back in the day, when we would go to a popular chain pizza buffet, I would indulge in what was called “Swamp chicken”. Yup, that is really what they called it. It had loads of chicken, spinach and Alfredo sauce and was smothered in mozzarella cheese.
Can I make this keto Alfredo pizza with another type of flour?
Sure, you can change it up with nut flour or 1/2 and 1/2. I would not personally recommend using all coconut flour on this, as that tends to need a LOT more moisture and will not work as a 1:1 replacement. I used almond flour exclusively with this keto pizza as it tends to bake well and is a good 1:1 replacement for white flour.
You can also try this flour here, but it may take an especially brave person to do so. (hint: it’s cricket flour!)
What kind of chicken can I use on this keto pizza?
This is a great way to use up some of that leftover chicken! You can use:
- Leftover rotisserie chicken
- Leftover chicken breasts
- Canned chicken

Can I use frozen spinach instead of fresh?
Absolutely! You can use 5 ounces of frozen, but thawed spinach instead of the fresh leaves. You will want to drain them thoroughly, and squeeze as much water out as you can to avoid the pizza getting runny.
What about fresh mozzarella cheese, instead of shredded?
Fresh mozzarella is the stuff that you can buy in “logs” or in plastic containers. That certainly will make a delicious pizza, too. However, it can be price prohibitive, but if you want to use it, go for it! I would make sure that the mozzarella you use in the crust is cut up very small to mix in well.
