Think breakfast has to be just eggs and meat? Think again! This keto breakfast pizza will make your mornings taste great again!
When it’s going to be a long day of running errands, heading to the gym, working from home, and homeschooling the Boy, it’s nice to have a hearty breakfast to keep going. Most of the time, breakfast consists of some eggs, turkey bacon, and avocado for healthy fats. On gym days, it’s a protein shake.
Not really that exciting.
However, when you take breakfast and make it into a pizza, it suddenly changes the whole dynamic. It could be that it’s suddenly finger food, or that it’s extremely portable. Maybe it’s just because it’s PIZZA.
After all, pizza is great any time of day, right? So, let’s enjoy it for breakfast! After all, there is literally NO ONE policing and saying we can’t have pizza for breakfast.
This keto breakfast pizza is easy to make and will keep you full for hours!
The crust is made of almond flour, mozzarella cheese, eggs, and seasonings. I love to cook it on my 9 inch cast iron flat pan as that gives it a nice crispy crust. However, if you don’t have one, a regular pizza pan or baking sheet will do the trick. You may want to add parchment paper on those, to help avoid sticking.
When you whip the batter for the crust up, it will be more like “quick bread” batter. Thick, yet pourable, instead of a regular pizza dough type batter. No rolling pin will be needed here.
Another great thing about this pizza is that it is filling enough to share. 2 slices and even the Boy is full. Leftovers will store well and heat up nicely in a toaster oven or microwave, so don’t be afraid to make an additional breakfast pizza for later in the week, too!
Add whatever toppings you would like to your keto breakfast pizza. Some suggestions:
- Scrambled eggs
- Cheese, cheese, and more cheese
- Sausage links cut up (I used chicken sausage here)
- Green onion
- Spinach
- Basil
- Fresh mozzarella
- Tomato slices
It’s really easy to personalize this and make it fit your daily goals. Are you ready to get your keto breakfast pizza fix? Let’s do this!

This turned out great.
I doubled the recipe for the two of us but only had 3 eggs.
Used my cast iron skillet and browned nicely on the bottom but
was light. I added scrambled eggs,(3) , 1 chicken apple sausage, 1 mini pepper and red onion.
Will make again many times. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
I’m making this tonight. I am new to trying Keto but LOVE breakfast and pizza. This is a perfect combo. Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE this recipe! SO easy and versatile! I have made this 4 times already, and each times I have switched up the ingredients slightly. I made this as an “traditional” style “non breakfast” pizza and it was incredible! This recipe is a KEEPER. Best Keto pizza I have come across. I never cared of the “FATHEAD” style of doughs, this is so awesome! Thank you so much! Truly a recipe I feel the need to keep forever and guard safe so I don’t loose it or forget it lol!
